Bamberg, Germany / Paris, France – February 7th, 2020
Actility & Abeeway partner up with Favendo, the German leading provider of real-time location services, to address together the tracking needs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a complete location solution, working both indoors and outdoors, for safety and security of people and assets in various industries.
Favendo is now channel partner of the Actility daughter Abeeway. The French company specializes in geolocation and tracking solutions via ultra low-power LoRaWAN connectivity and its technology is a perfect fit with the solution portfolio of the German indoor tracking specialists at Favendo. The contract was signed in January. The company will continue to expand its technological partnerships in the future in order to be able to offer its customers geolocation solutions tailored to all applications.
Favendo-CEO Arnaud Becuwe: “We are experts in the implementation of multi-component and complex tracking projects. The new partnership with Abeeway opens up new opportunities for applications where positioning and tracking is required in outdoor areas and will help us to further strengthen our position in the market for real-time location systems, especially in the DACH region”.
In addition, Favendo customers and partners will be able to choose between Favendo’s own RTLS platform Commander, Abeeway’s ThingParkX Location Engine or a custom-fit hybrid solution, which ideally combines the strengths of both systems, depending on the application and requirements. For customers, Favendo remains the only contact partner with its proven installation and roll-out service. Initial customer projects in the areas of outdoor asset tracking, people tracking in the oil and gas producing industry and visitor tracking in high security areas are scheduled to fill the partnership with life in the first quarter of 2020.
Nicolas Jordan, COO at Actility, CEO at Abeeway: “Germany is full of opportunities for applications in asset tracking and the protection of people working in its countless industries. Many complex projects require the know-how of several players, which is why Abeeway/Actility is partnering with Favendo – to provide a solution that works everywhere, indoors and outdoors.”
