Companies and organizations of all sizes can now quickly launch their LoRaWAN® projects from AWS Marketplace in a cost-effective way, taking advantage of Actility’s industrial-grade technology, tailored for enterprises. With ThingPark Enterprise, customers can easily deploy and manage seamless wireless IoT networks across multiple sites and countries, keep digital twins of their sensors with AWS IoT Core, and from there leverage additional Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT services to develop modern cloud IoT applications to drive meaningful business outcomes.
Going wireless eliminates the costs and delays associated to wiring, one of the roadblocks for industrial digitization. The rich LoRaWAN® sensor ecosystem provides devices for a large variety of uses cases, all sharing the same horizontal network infrastructure. Even traditional wired protocols such as ModBus® can now go wireless. Sharing infrastructure costs across use cases further reduces the connectivity overheads and the improved Return-on-Investment (RoI) makes it possible to massively extend the scope of digitization.

Actility has collaborated with AWS to create a Cloud Formation Template (CFT) enabling one-click instantiation of AWS IoT Core configuration in a customer’s AWS account. Digital twins for the physical sensors, AWS IoT “Things” are automatically created as LoRaWAN® devices are added, making bidirectional communication with any application across AWS instant and seamless.
